Israel’s security cabinet has accepted a ceasefire deal with Hamas, which is set to begin on Sunday. However, violence has continued, with at least 113 Palestinians killed, including 28 children and 31 women, in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since the announcement of the ceasefire deal. Additionally, reports from the UN agency for Palestinian refugees indicate that an estimated 15 children per day in Gaza are suffering from war injuries that will result in life-changing disabilities. Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s military actions in Gaza have led to at least 46,876 Palestinian deaths and 110,642 injuries. The Hamas-led attacks on Israel on that day resulted in the deaths of at least 1,139 Israelis and over 200 captives.
